Accommodation FAQs

Here are a few answers to questions we get asked the most! If you still have questions then please don't hesitate to contact us.

Are the properties child friendly?

Absolutely! We've been lucky enough to grow up in this part of the world and it's a great place to be when you're young. All properties are fitted with stair gates and the gardens are fenced to make sure no one wanders off! Please be aware that the farm is a working one and all children should be supervised at all times when looking around and visiting the animals.

Are the properties suitable for guests with disabilities?

With a bedroom on the ground floor, the Farmhouse can be suitable for guests with limited mobility, however we ask that you give us a call or drop us an email prior to booking to discuss your requirements and we will do all we can to help.

Can I bring my dog?

All the properties are dog friendly and you are more than welcome to bring them on holiday with you. We ask that when walking around the farm, dogs are kept on a lead.

Do the properties have Wifi?

Yes all properties have wifi included. Due to the rural location the speeds are not 'super fast' but is definitely enough to instagram a picture of the beautiful countryside!

Do I need to bring my own bedsheets and towels?

All bed linen and towels are provided! The only thing we don't provide is cot linen so please do bring your own if you would like to make use of the travel cot in the properties. If you are staying with us for longer than seven days we can arrange a change of bedlinen if you would like.

Can I use the lake to fish?

Yes, the lake is free to use for all guests, so if fishing is your thing then bring your rod! If you're hoping to fish, just let us know beforehand and we can let you know how to access the lake. Please note that children need to be supervised at all times when fishing and walking near the lake.

Can I get supermarket groceries delivered for arrival?

Absolutely. Many guests choose to have groceries delivered by their choice of supermarket on the day of arrival. Please do try and arrange a time slot when you plan to be in the property, as we aren't normally able to take deliveries on your behalf. Be sure to add the name of your holiday property to the delivery instructions too, this helps us to direct the driver if they are unsure where to find you!

Where is the best place to eat out?

There are loads of great places to eat nearby. We've compiled a list of our favourites on the 'Food & Drink' page. There's plenty to cater to all tastes and diets put please do let us know if you're looking for something specific which we haven't recommended!
