Why Round Chimneys?

Whether you are looking for a peaceful and secluded break to enjoy life at a slower pace, or wanting to throw yourself into exploring the nearby beaches, towns and footpaths, Round Chimneys Farm offers something for everyone. The three properties are set on the working beef and sheep farm in the heart of the stunning Dorset countryside. All properties are dog friendly too, meaning you can enjoy your time away without having to leave your four legged friends at home.

The Farmhouse and Churchill Cottage have interesting historical connections having once been owned by John Churchill, the Duke of Marlborough as well as infamous highwayman, John Clavell. Sleeping 12, the Farmhouse is ideally suited for larger families or gatherings and can also be linked to Churchill Cottage via an interconnecting door to provide accommodation for up to 18 people, all under one roof. Round Chimneys is perfect for family gatherings, wedding accommodation and breaks with friends.

The location of the farm offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the beauty that the area has to offer. The Jurassic Coast with its many beaches is a short drive away, as well as a wealth of beautiful National Trust properties and famous landmarks. That said, there is plenty to see and do without leaving the farm, with plenty of animals to see, fields to walk and a small games room to cater to those with a competitive streak. There is also a small fishing lake on site stocked with carp, tench and roach to keep keen anglers busy.
